When you use Pure Cariad’s website or any of Pure Cariad’s online services you may be advised that special guidelines or rules apply. These terms and conditions apply to all users (including casual browsers) whether or not the registration process has been completed. Use of this website indicates acceptance of these terms and conditions, but they do not affect your statutory rights. 2 Descriptions of our products and prices

Pure Cariad’s products are not mass produced and many are made by hand and using natural materials. As a result individual products are often unique. The product you receive may well not be identical to the equivalent product pictured on this website or to those supplied previously or as part of the same shipment. Whilst we endeavour to ensure that all pictures, descriptions, specifications and illustrations on this website are correct, they are provided for guidance only, so as to present a general idea of our products, and we reserve the right to alter them. They do not form part of these terms and conditions. We try our hardest to ensure that the colours are reproduced as accurately as possible, but we cannot control the technical issues concerned with rendering images through the use and performance of the different browsers, browser environments and screens that you view the site on.

Prices quoted on this website are indicative only and are subject to change. All prices on this website are inclusive of United Kingdom VAT and packing and delivery is quoted seperately.
Pure Cariad is under no obligation to provide any product to you at an incorrect (lower) price, even after we have sent you a sales order, if the pricing error is obvious and unmistakeable and could have reasonably been recognised by you as an error.

3 Credit Card security

We use a third party payment provider called “Pay Pal” on our website. Pay Pal is audited by an independent auditor on a regular basis to ensure that they comply with the latest security standards set out by Visa and other leading credit card companies. If you have processed your order online using the payment pages hosted by Pay Pal, you may locate and click on the padlock image which can be found on our payment pages to confirm that your details are collected in a secure environment.

Once you have entered your card details, Pay Pal will securely send these details to the bank to be authorised. This is a completely secure process and we ensure that your details cannot be accessed by a third party. We, ourselves, do not hold any credit details from this site, nor do we see your credit card information at any stage.

4 Currency

All prices quoted are British Pounds Sterling, and all purchases will be charged in British Pounds Sterling.

5 Ordering outside the UK

6 Holidays

If for any reason we are unable to process orders, we will suspend ordering via the website and advise of our stockists.

7 Liability

Total liability for any claim however arising shall not exceed the price of the goods supplied by us to you. We shall not be liable for any consequential customer loss whether this arises from a breach of duty, in contract or in any other way. We cannot accept any liability as a result of any failure to comply with specific instructions set out on this site. Your statutory rights are not affected by this statement.

8 GDPR

Any data held by Pure Cariad will be for the sole purpose of processing your order. You are invited to opt in to receive our newsletters and updates, which you can opt out of at any stage.

We do not share your details with any third party.

9 Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Pure Cariad and hold Pure Cariad harmless from and against any losses, claims, actions or demands (including any legal fees incurred in connection with any such loss, claim, action or demand) resulting from your misuse of this website or Pure Cariad’s online services or your breach of these terms and conditions.

10 Virus Protection and Compatibility

While certain precautions have been taken to detect computer viruses and ensure security, Pure Cariad, and our hosting partner, cannot guarantee that the website is virus-free and secure. We will not be liable for any loss or damage which occurs as a result of any virus or breach of security. We do not give any warranties as to the compatibility of the website with your computer systems, software and/or hardware. Your use of this website and Pure Cariad’s online services is at your sole risk.

11 Method of payment (telephone orders)

If you wish to pay by credit/debit card, please give your card number, expiry and the security code. We accept most cards including Visa Debit, Visa, and MasterCard. We do not invoice for any item until it is ready to be despatched. Back ordered items are not invoiced until they are despatched.

12 Title claim

These goods remain the property of Pure Cariad until such time as they are paid for. The risk in the goods shall pass to you on delivery but the ownership of the goods shall remain with us until full payment has been received from you.

13 Copyright

All copyright, design rights and other intellectual property rights in our designs and products (and in the images, text and design of this website) are and will remain the property of Pure Cariad. Any infringement of these rights will be pursued vigorously. All designs shown in our catalogues are original designs by Pure Caraid and are protected by copyright. In the event of any unauthorised copying we are entitled to take legal proceedings against the customer, wholesaler or manufacturer.

14 Customer rights

Looking after the needs of our customers is our primary concern. On the rare occasions where there might be a problem with an incorrect dispatched order or the merchandise is damaged or faulty, please contact us immediately. We promise a speedy response with friendly and helpful service.

15 Summary

If any of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid then that provision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions which shall remain fully enforceable. No waiver by Pure Cariad of any term shall be deemed to be continuing or shall be deemed to be a waiver of any other term. You are not permitted to reproduce, sell or exploit for any commercial purpose any part of this website or Pure Cariad’s online services.

None of these terms and conditions shall be enforceable under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 by any third party. These terms and conditions will be interpreted and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts in England and Wales.

16 Safety

Safety is paramount with any product using a flame. Please do not leave candles or melts unattended or in the reach of children or animals.

Diffusers are also to be kept out of the reach of children or animals as although natural are harmful when consumed or applied to skin directly. If consumption or skin contact occurs consult your doctor immediately or call 111.

Used safely all scents are free from chemicals and harmful toxins so are safe to use around children and animals and can offer wellbeing benefits to them too.
